What Matters Communications has grown out of an enduring business relationship and friendship between Carmen Wright and Ellen Baragon.
We met back in 2001 while working together at the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board. While Ellen moved on to consulting work as the proprietor of Ergo Creative Services, Carmen remained on staff as a senior manager of the communications teams.
Over the years, Carmen frequently engaged Ellen as an outside consultant. Then, in 2019, Carmen moved on to consult as Carmen Wright, Communications + Design.
It seemed a natural evolution to partner up under What Matters Communications in 2020, where we combine our unique and complementary mix of talents, shared values and great sense of humour to tackle projects that matter.
If you have an idea for a project that you need help with, send us a note. We’re always happy to chat.
